Incredible! Really enjoyed my trip, alfonso and jasper are so sweet. Keep in mind they prefer cash in dollars, try to pay with that instead of debit or credit card. Definitely recommend

Every minute of this experience was wonderful. How the shuttle came to get us and took us back, the delicious breakfast and lunch, the beautiful waterfall and rainforest views, and of course the horses and the company!!! Alonso and Alfonso were so excellent we were in good hands the whole trip (by car and by horse respectively). The horses were so well trained and we had so much fun. 10/10 would do it again. Highly recommend.

Our trip was led by very patient tour guides who always made sure we were safe and having a good time. We were fed a delicious meal with a stunning view, and the horses were so well trained they did everything on their own. Amazing experience!! We ended up having a private tour and it was simply wonderful. From start to finish, our guide, Jordan, was extremely helpful, informative, and accommodating. We were picked up by their shuttle right outside of our hotel (we stayed at the Shana in Manuel Antonio). We were served breakfast and lunch - both delicious!! The ride itself was gorgeous with views of all kinds of wildlife as well as the waterfall itself. Highly recommend - a wonderful way to see Costa Rica!!

Simply majestic experience. We were honored to be toured up & down the mountains to secret forests & waterfalls owned by such a passion, knowledgeable Costa Rican. And the authentic Costa Rica lunch was delicious. I’ve been on a lot of horseback trail rides across the country & this was by far one of my favorites! It’s perfect for all ages & levels. For me this was a wonderful experience, the waterfall is beautiful with a natural pool at the end, you can swim at the waterfall so make sure to bring extra clothes. Alonso is really the best guide you could ask for, extremely helpful and fun to be around. We were served breakfast and lunch, all Costa Rican meals which were very rich in flavor. The booking was easy, I just emailed and within a few minutes they responded, I ended up doing the full day because I wanted to spend more time at the waterfall. The horses are well trained and very well taken care of. I have been on horses before, not frequently but I do have some experience but this tour is for both beginners and also for experienced riders. This is a must do if you are in the area.

Our family of 5 loved our full day ride. We all have limited experience however the horses and our guide Jesse were patient and kind. It was a fabulous way to see the beauty of this countryside and enjoy the scenery. Breakfast and lunch delicious at a lovely scenic spot. Highly recommend. The waterfall was lovely to cool off. First Time Going Horseback Riding – We Have You Covered

 

For a lot of our customers, this will be the first time they get to ride a horse which for some can be a little nervous but we are here to tell you that we have you covered.  Our breed of horses are trained by True Professionals so they are incredible calm and we have been doing this horseback tour for many years and have always had amazing feedback from our guests regarding our horses.  

Not only do we have very well trained horses but our Guides are Local Campesinos which means Local Farmers here in Costa Rica who Speak English and will be able to communicate very useful tips to you during the horseback riding adventure.  

Horseback Riding Booking Options 

 

For the Manuel Antonio horseback riding tour you have the option of booking a Half Day Trip and a Full Day Tour.   

The Full Day Horseback Riding Tour is from 7:40 a.m. pick up time at your Hotel or Villa and return time is around 2:30 p.m.   The price is $75 per person plus tax with credit card.

The Half Day Waterfall 4×4 Tour is from 7:40 a.m. pick up time at your Hotel or Villa and return time is around 12:00 pm – 12:30 pm   The price is $85 per person plus tax with credit card.

Regular Shared Horseback Trips & Private Horseback Tours

 

Our regular Manuel Antonio Horseback Riding Tour involves you and your group with other people as well joining the horseback adventure.   However, you we provide Private Horseback Tours which is a great option for those who want to be exclusively with their group.  Send us an email using our Contact Form and let us know if you wish to be on our Regular Tour or a Private Horseback Tour.

Prepare Yourself For a Fun Horseback Riding Adventure

 

Prepare yourself for a fun horseback riding adventure where you will get to encounter various animals, as well as amazing mountain views & a beautiful Waterfall where you can enjoy swimming and take in all of the nature that Manuel Antonio has to offer.

We do recommend that you bring long pants and an extra change of clothes. You will want to change your clothes once you are done swimming at the Waterfall.

We have a hard working staff who are there to ensure you have the best time while always remaining safe on the horse.  It is a 5 hour tour if you book the half day waterfall 4×4 tour or a 7 hour tour if you reserve the full day horseback riding adventure.

The horseback riding tour is a great opportunity for you to really be in nature and a lot of customers say they felt very relaxed because all you hear are the animals that live in the Mountain.
